Uniflex Hydraulic Hose Press Maintenance and Repair Guide
Uniflex Hydraulic Hose Press Maintenance and Repair Guide
Correct Maintenance and Use Practices
The Operator's Manual Must Be Read Before Starting to Use. The use of the machine must be carried out by an experienced and trained operator. During maintenance, the machine must be turned off and the main electrical plug must be removed for safety. The working parts of the machine must be cleaned 3-4 times every day, depending on the frequency of operation, with a vacuum device and a clean cloth. The molds of the machine should be cleaned of any coating dust adhering to them with a clean cloth after each use. Mold pins should be checked before each use. The hydraulic oil level should be checked periodically. When changing molds, a mold changing apparatus should be used when dismantling the mold, but the molds should be installed one by one when installing the mold. When changing molds, the micro switch must be placed in the "0" position. Incorrect Maintenance and Usage Practices
Since it has a Teflon bearing system, it does not require lubrication and grease should not be used. The EMERGENCY OFF button should not be used except in emergencies. Cleaning should not be done with an air gun. When changing hydraulic oil, the old oil should never be added to the old oil and the hydraulic filter should be replaced during each oil change. The presses with the stop switch used for mass production are designed for pressing straight hose fittings. 90° Hose fittings should not be pressed with this method. The measurement switch holding mechanism should never be dismantled during maintenance. If it is removed, the calibration of the machine will be disrupted. If you have a problem with this part, please contact HİDROMAN. In order to prevent the mold springs from remaining under pressure, the press must be left at its maximum opening diameter after use. Teflon Bearing Replacements
An important advantage of Uniflex machines is that there is no need for greasing, thanks to the Teflon bearing system on which the molds work. After long use, the teflon bearing system can be replaced in a very short time, ensuring that the press operates as precisely as the first day. Teflon bearing system replacement begins with removing the 8 bolts located at the back of the pressing machine. After removing the bolts, the teflon bearing retainer is removed. After removing the Teflon bearing holder, the Teflon bearings located under the 8 fixed molds are removed manually, one by one. After the old teflon bearings are removed, the new teflon bearings are manually installed under the 8 fixed molds in the same way. After installing the renewed teflon bearings, the teflon bearing holder is properly placed in place. After the Teflon holder is replaced, the 8 fixing bolts are replaced and the Teflon bearing replacement process is completed.
