Vital mistakes made during the assembly phase of hydraulic pumps, which are considered the heart of hydraulic systems, will result in difficult and expensive results to correct on your machine. A hydraulic pump commissioned in accordance with the assembly rules and the right choice in the appropriate flow and pressure range will increase the efficiency of your machine as well as reduce your operating costs visibly.
Therefore, we recommend that you consider the following notes.
Empty your hydraulic oil tank, think that there may be sawdust particles brought by the hydraulic oil in the tank, wash it with diesel oil, clean it and dry it. Do the same for your hydraulic hoses and pipes, valve assembly and cylinders. By disassembling your safety valve that protects your hydraulic system from high pressure; check the spring tension, slider and poppet and reassemble them. Take the spring tension and bring it to the neutral position. Discard the old suction, pressure and return line filters in your hydraulic system and install new filters with the filtering degree recommended by the machine manufacturer. Check whether the coupling or connection gear on the engine or gearbox where you will mount the pump is defective or loose. Do not forget that defective, gapped couplings and gears cause the pump shaft to turn jerkily, thus causing rapid wear of the pump. Connect your pump to your machine mechanically with suitable bolts from the front cover. Fill the suction hose and pipe with hydraulic oil and connect the suction hose to the pump. Connect the pressure line hose to the pump. In the meantime, check if both hoses or pipes are cracked, punctured or shrunken. 32-68 cst. into your hydraulic tank up to the maximum level indicator. Add hydraulic oil that can work betweenWhile all control valves are in the center position, make sure that the pump makes a few turns by contacting your machine. It will prevent the pump from operating without oil during the first suction. 10-15 min. run idle. If there is no abnormal sound after the above-mentioned operations; Bring your pressure relief valve, which was previously set to neutral, to the pressure values recommended by the machine manufacturer. You can see this pressure value by connecting a monometer to the pressure line of the system. Ensure that the hydraulic oil temperature does not exceed 85°C. For this, check whether your oil cooler is clean and its connections are made properly. Try all hydraulic control levers and check if your machine performs all movements at the times recommended by the machine manufacturer.
